Computers in a Lecture
It’s interesting that even though I’m allowed to take a computer to my lectures, I prefer a notebook and a pen. A computer seems bulky (even though mine is a light Macbook Pro), and slow (even though I can type faster than I write). Maybe at a later time when the programming gets heaver and comes out of the “this is how you write a for loop” phase, I’ll consider taking it in.
This must be how people who’re not used to using a computer must feel like. I’ve been conditioned from birth not to use a computer for academics, and now, it seems like I can’t even if I’m allowed to.
